Burr-master

By kylek

This is a nifty little de-burring tool. It simply slots over your blade and you slide it back and forth…and voila. Very quick, no slips, great if you have kids and need to do this a lot.

Cost ranges from $20US (adamsinline) to $25 Cdn (RedRiverSpeed), plus shipping.

We picked up three during the summer for various club members, and I think everyone, myself included, quite likes them.

…it is unbelievable….I was able to do a quick sharpen on my son’s skates in the shortest time ever today…

and I am sure he will be able to work it as well….the only downside I can see with this new tool is that he will never get the sheer joy of taking an hour to take the burr off of a pair skates for each sharpening…and getting a cramped hand in the process…

I just ordered a Burrmaster from Randy Plett @ Red River. The toal cost was $30.74 ( includes taxes and shipping) plus a laziness charge for using Interac Email Payment instead of going to the post office for a money order. He also accepts payments from certapay. No creditcard payments.
