Might be unofficial, Hamelin’s wikipedia page has not been updated with this info.
The current World record is: 500m Jean-François Monette CAN 41.184 2003 Calgary (according to Speed Skating Canada) Although the Canadian record is: 500m Charles Hamelin CAN 41.035 2004 Calgary. I guess we just have higher standards ;o)
